JEWELLERY CARE
Sterling Silver may tarnish and oxidise over time. This is a natural reaction to chemicals in the atmosphere, as well as the heat and body oils of the wearer.
Store clean, dry sterling silver in a dry, airtight container. Minimise sterling silver’s contact with chemicals (hairspray, perfume, body lotion, bleach, etc.) and do not wear in the shower, swimming pool or hot spring.
Clean your silver jewellery with a silver polishing cloth (avoid the gemstones) or alternatively, gently rub with a soft cloth in warm soapy water. Use a cotton bud or a soft toothbrush to reach the crevices. Always dry your silver jewellery thoroughly after cleaning.
Oxidised Silver has been intentionally darkened and cleaning it may strip some of the dark patina. Do not clean it with silver polishing cloth. Instead, gently wipe it with a slightly damp soft cloth.
Gently clean your Gems and Pearls with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water. Do not submerge your Necklace in water as it might weaken the silk thread.
